The Texas Office of the Attorney General’s Child Support Division (CSD) and the Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV) have collaborated to develop this website to assist victims of family violence obtain child support services as safely as possible.

For many victims of family violence, child support represents an opportunity to establish and maintain economic independence from an abusive partner. At the same time, the child support process may introduce safety concerns for some victims.

This website provides information about the child support process and how survivors of family violence can determine if and how they can pursue child support safely.
